Finished Size: 12" x 12"

Part of the constellation Draco (The Dragon), Thuban is a faint star in the "tail" of the dragon. While not very bright, it is the most important star in the grouping because of its position in the northern sky. Thuban, or Alpha Draconis, is the "North Pole Star" that helped guide travelers in ancient times. It is a white giant star located about 303 light years away from Earth.
