Found predominantly on the eastern side of the Mississippi River, from Northern Florida to Southern Vermont, the Tulip Poplar (Liriodendron tulipifera) is one of our favorite trees. Like its close relative the Magnolia, the Tulip Poplar is a rather primitive tree, which is more than fifty million years old. Celebrate the natural explosion of color produced by the trees in the fall with this glorious patchwork of tessellated Tulip tree leaves, inspired by the natural beauty inherent in this autumnal rainbow extravaganza.
