Finished Size: 12" x 12"
Located on the Santa Ana river, Riverside is the birthplace of the California citrus industry. With the huge success of the Brazilian navel orange trees, the city prospered and quickly became one of the wealthiest towns in California at the time. Based on the early missions found throughout California, the Mission Inn & Spa is considered to be the largest Mission Revival style building in the country and is a popular tourist destination, having been frequented by presidents, royalty, and even move stars. This Mission style inspired quilt block salutes Riverside and its notable history with a modified star motif.
