Since their emergence in the later half of the nineteenth century, string quilts have maintained a loyal following. As a practical use for fabric scraps, early String Quilts were often utilitarian in function; however, with the incorporation of finer fabrics, these pieces evolved to a decorative status. Our rendition maintains the simple design of early Log Cabin String quilts with a hint of movement.
