An important and influential city, Paris the largest city and capitol of France. One of the most popular tourist destinations in the world, Paris offers a plethora of landmarks, attractions, and parks. Built as an entrance to the 1889 World's Fair and designed by Gustave Eiffel, the Eiffel Tower is global icon of both Paris and France. As might be imagined when looking straight down at the tower from the air, this block is a pinwheel set atop a square base.
