Finished Size: 6" x 6"
Inspired by travels to China and India, the Dutch were taken with Chinese porcelain. Popular in the mid 1600's and early 1700's, Dutch Delftware pottery was made using a special clay mixture and often decorated with elaborate designs drawn in blue glaze. This quilt block illustrates a classic Delftware teapot with a delightful scene "painted" on it.
