Finished Size: 6" x 6"

Changing as in appearance as it rotates around the earth, the moon passes through a number of phases each month. This block depicts the moon in its waning crescent stage. For a waxing crescent, rotate the block 180º.

    I love foundation paper piecing and hate curves. This is all straight lines and clearly marked sections for two different colors/prints. I made a table mat (this block and a border) machine quilted it, and finished in under an hour. The part that took the longest was binding. I'll be using this block a lot!
