Finished Size: 12" x 12"

Founded as a small trading post, the city of Corpus Christi is now the largest city on Texas' southern coast. Taking it's name from the day on which it was discovered by Alonzo Alvarez de Pineda, the Roman Catholic Feast Day, the trading post known as Kinney's Trading Post was renamed "Body of Christ," or Corpus Christi. Today, the city is a popular tourist destination that is home to many museums, attractions, and colleges. Nearby, the Gulf of Mexico and Corpus Christi Bay offer fantastic opportunities for fishing and water sports. Celebrating it's seaside location, this block features a colorful series of pinwheels.
