Finished Size: 12" x 12"
While first settled in 1796, Cleveland, Ohio grew rapidly after the completion of the Ohio and Erie canal in 1832, which connected it to the Atlantic Ocean via Lake Erie. This block is named for the baseball team which has been in residence since 1900. Following the 1914 season, the team was renamed "the Indians," replacing the original "Lake Shores." Resembling a spinning tomahawk, this block salutes the Indians and their home town of Cleveland, Ohio.
