Finished Size: 6" x 6"
Made of a red clay found in Britain, Brown Betty Teapots were considered to be the best for brewing tea because of the clay's ability to retain heat. Originally much taller, the shape was gradually changed to a shorter and rounder design as it was thought that tea steeped better when it had more room for the tea leaves to swirl around.
